Machine Zone have released a new feature in Game of War: Fire Age Beta called “Dungeons”. Dungeons are accessed through the “More” tab from the main game screen. Effectively they are another way to gain items, similar to the Casino.
Instead of using casino chips a new item has been added called Dark Energy. Dark energy can be bought in multiple sizes and costs exactly the same as the equivalent sized casino chip stack.
Once you enter the Dungeon you will be confronted with a monster. You need to tap the screen rapidly to play. Each hit landed on the monster costs 5,000 dark energy for normal mode and 50,000 dark energy for Hyper mode (think high roller casino).
Every hit reduces the monsters energy bar by 10% and awards a random item (speed ups, resources, gold e.t.c.). Like the casino, hyper mode rewards better items than normal mode, or multiples items. What's not yet clear in beta is whether you will have to buy a relevant pack to access hyper mode like high roller. We are willing to bet gold that once it hits live you will have to pay to unlock this feature.
When the monster's health bar reduces to zero, the monster is killed and you have a high chance of being rewarded with the choice of three chests (again similar to casino) and the choice to pay to open all three....again casino!!!
You progress forward into the dungeon automatically after the death of the monster and are confronted with another monster to repeat the process.
As you have probably already guessed from the above, this appears to be an exact clone of the casino (with different graphics and slightly different items). The current Dungeon is called a speed dungeon and MZ have indicated that others will be released. Hopefully they will be a little more exciting to play!
