Clash of Clans Healer

In Clash of Clans the Healer is the only support unit that does no damage, but instead heals your other troops. Healers are a flying unit and therefore vulnerable to air defenses.

Healers can only heal ground units and will not heal any other flying troops. The healer will follow your troops closely, healing any unit that is damaged. You should aim to take out air defenses before deploying your healers, or at least any air defenses in the deployment area.

One good tactic is to send out a couple of healers behind a large group of Giants. Giants can withstand a large amount of damage and with your Healers restoring their hit points will withstand huge amounts of damage. Whole towns can be wiped out with this combo.

Healers take up a large number of housing spaces at 14 per unit. You should therefore generally only include a few in any attack. You should also note that as healers cannot do any damage, the attack will be over if you only have healers left.
